WikiHouse Engineers

If you are a qualified structural engineer, or a design-build-and-certify company for structural foundations, you can become a WikiHouse Engineer.

The main role of a WikiHouse Engineer is to provide a structural checking service, where you check and certify that a customer's project will meet all relevant structural building regulations.

On some projects you might be involved through the design process, providing feedback to the designer. On many projects we will have already worked with the customer to develop a design and carried out calculations, making it fast and simple for you to check and certify the project.

As a WikiHouse Engineer you will:

• Be familiar with the WikiHouse system.
• Work with project designers or us to check and certify customers projects.

We will:

• Provide you with support
• Refer potential customers to you.
• Provide you with a WikiHouse Engineer logo, which you can use on your website or marketing materials.

WikiHouse Installers

If you are a construction company or on-site-installations company you can become a WikiHouse Installer. This might mean building an entire project, or just coming in as a subcontractor to rapidly assemble the WikiHouse chassis.

As a WikiHouse Installer you can offer your services to do any or all of the following:

• Prepare site and install groundworks (foundations and utilities)
• Assemble the WikiHouse chassis and make it weatherproof
• Complete buildings to finished state; including installing windows, cladding, internal fit out and/or services.

We will:

• Provide you with support
• Refer potential customers to you
• Provide you with a WikiHouse Installer logo, which you can use on your website or marketing materials.

WikiHouse Design & Build teams BETA

WikiHouse design & build teams work with customers all the way through the process, from enquiry to completion. This can include outsourcing individual parts of the process to others, but as a full design and build service, your role will usually be to manage the overall project for your customers, and to be responsible for successful delivery. You can also give customers the option to do some of the work themselves.

As a WikiHouse design & build company you will:

• Work with the customer to understand their needs and develop an outline design, then later a detailed design and specification.
• Provide customers with cost estimates throughout
• Ensure the project complies with all relevant regulations and codes
• Manage delivery and complete buildings to a finished state.
• Provide warranties as required.

We will:
• Provide you with support
• Refer potential customers to you
• Provide you with a WikiHouse Design & Build team logo, which you can use on your website or marketing materials.

Teams working in partnership Architecture firms can partner-up with builders to form a design and build team together. This will make it possible for you to provide accurate cost estimates or quotes to customers during the design process, and to iteratively improve your service over time.
